Set within part of the iconic Custard Factory (once home to Alfred Bird’s legendary dessert empire), Alfred Works will blend industrial heritage with culinary innovation. The name? A nod to Alfred Himself.
Behind our doors, you’ll discover a handpicked mix of independent kitchens and bars, each serving its own twist on global street food, comfort classics, sweet treats, and next-level drinks. Whether you’re planning a casual bite, cocktails with friends, or trying something new, this will be the go-to destination for shared experiences and standout flavours.
Expect pop-ups, themed nights, chef collaborations, and plenty more. Follow your nose, or your curiosity! Both will lead somewhere delicious.

Need a quiet corner for calls? A perch for emails? Or just a spot to nurse a flat white and look convincingly productive? We’ve got you, with flexible spaces shaped for modern work, collaboration, and momentum.

And thanks to our wide-open layout, the little ones can stretch their legs in the play area while you can finally drink that coffee before it gets cold. Miracles do happen.
